Summary:
This is the final installment in a four-part continuing education series, From First Call to Final Order: A Practical Compliance Series on Ohio Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors Enforcement, focused on regulatory enforcement by the Ohio Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors (OBEFD).
Building on Parts One, Two, and Three, this webinar explores what happens after an investigation concludes and a matter proceeds to formal Board action. The program provides a step-by-step overview of the disciplinary process—from notice and hearing through final resolution.
Attendees will learn the structure and purpose of Board hearings, the roles of the Board, counsel, witnesses, and licensees, as well as possible outcomes, sanctions, and post-hearing considerations.
Participants will gain practical insight into what to expect during Board proceedings, how decisions are made, and how disciplinary outcomes can impact licensure and professional standing. This session completes the series by connecting investigation, public exposure, and enforcement to final resolution.
