The Conference Releases Digital NBE Study Guides & Launches Exam Candidate Portal

The International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards announced its partnership with VitalSource to offer National Board Exam study guides through the Bookshelf® platform. “We are always looking for innovative ways to help candidates,” said Jon Rettig, Sr., President and OFDA Past President. “This has been a goal of The Conference and VitalSource provides a secure, user-friendly, and interactive solution.”

The Conference also announced the implementation of an online candidate registration portal on July 25, 2023. Candidates will request a user account through The Conference’s website for access. They can apply for exams, track their application status, view their exam history and request the release of their scores for licensing all in one place!

“We strive to offer a first-class experience for our candidates,” said Jon Rettig, Sr., current President of The Conference and OFDA Past President. “The portal system allows real-time status information, as well as historical data to candidates as they go through their application, testing, and licensure process.”
