Obituary for Michael David Wilson

Father of Katy M. Wilson-Clark, Funeral Director at Cox-NcNulty Funeral Homes

Michael David Wilson, age 69, passed away November 24, 2021.  

Born in Akron, Ohio to the late Woodrow and Beryl, Mike was a graduate of Hoban High School, class of 1971. He was a craftsman by trade, working over 30 years as a Carpenter, member of Local 639. Mike had a passion for the outdoors spending countless hours volunteering with the Ohio Div. of Wildlife, T.I.P., NWTF, Lake and Trails and was the current President of the Wadsworth Hunt Club. He was an avid hunter and had a passion for teaching youth in the community gun and hunter safety. 

Mike is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Michelle Robertson; and brothers, Woodrow and Williard. 

Mike will be deeply missed by his wife, Lynn; son, Michael; daughter Katy (Travis) Clark; grandsons, David, Christopher, Brock, Owen, and Helen; brother, Bill (Dottie); son-in- law, Michael (Heather) Robertson; sister-in-law, Carol Fisher; canine son, Stan; canine grand pups, Buddy and Mae- Mae; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  

Visitation will be held, THURSDAY, from 4:00-7:00pm at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High St., Wadsworth. Mass of Christian Burial, FRIDAY, 11:00am at Prince of Peace Parish, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. 

Given that Mike passed from complications of COVID, we are requesting that visitors wear masks.
