Transport Technician
Mid-State Mortuary Support - Morrow County
Mid-State Mortuary Support is currently hiring part-time Transport Technicians
This is an "on call" 1099 position, meaning you get to stay home and only go out when you get a call and you make your own schedule.
Mid-State Mortuary Support is a professional support company providing services funeral homes and coroner's offices in Central Ohio. We transport the deceased from residences, hospitals, long/short term care facilities, other medical facilities, funeral homes, medical examiner’s office, airports or other death scenes on behalf of funeral directors and/or coroners.
Transport technicians are responsible for the care, removal and transportation of the decedents according to law and our company standards.
Technicians will:
- Perform removals of the deceased and transport to the location designated by the calling firm.
- Ensure removal vehicle and other equipment is clean and properly maintained in a condition for a call
- All paperwork is completed in full, neatly and accurately
- Maintain a valid Ohio driver’s license and clean driving record and be at least 18 years old
- No criminal record
- Maintain a professional appearance and wears appropriate attire or company uniform.
- Interact courteously, professionally and respectfully with the families of the deceased and customer representatives of the referring firm
.Serious candidates MUST be: able to work flexible on-call hours, be hard-working, polite, have reliable transportation and be in good physical condition.
Heavy lifting required (ability to lift a minimum 80 lbs.)
Must reside with Morrow or surrounding county in Ohio
