Snyder Funeral Homes are seeking licensed funeral director/embalmers for our Delaware and Sunbury, Ohio locations serving Delaware County, just North of Columbus, minutes from the Polaris area. We also have other opportunities in North Central Ohio. We are a family-owned/operated business looking to add additional experienced supportive members to our team.
The ideal applicant would be a self-motivated, conscientious director, with the ability to contribute in all phases of providing compassionate funeral service to our growing community.
Experience with arrangements, preparation, and computers is appreciated. The insurability to drive company vehicles along with the ability to lift 75 pounds or more is also a must. We offer an attractive base salary commensurate with experience along with scheduled evening and every other, three-day weekends off. Currently, 100% of the associate's premium for our group medical plan are paid by Snyders, as well as disability insurance (own occupation), and group life insurance.
Our generous 100% employer-funded profit sharing and retirement plan offers 22% of base salary benefit in reward for on-call responsibilities, equating to over $14,000 + contribution into the associates account annually. We also provide a merit bonus, clothing and other allowances, paid vacation and paid licenses fees as well as approved continuing education combine for a total benefits package unparalleled in the profession.
