Job description
Caring, Respectful Funeral Home in Chillicothe is seeking an experienced Funeral Director/Embalmer.
$5,000 sign on bonus available.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Arrange and conduct funeral and memorial ceremonies in a professional, organized, and caring manner
- Care for the deceased respectfully while performing a variety of tasks, including removals and transfers; embalming, dressing, and casketing.
- Arrange for and oversee interment or cremation of human remains
- Prepare necessary legal paperwork, including contracts, authorizations, death certificates and transit permits
REQUIREMENTS
- Active and In Good Standing Funeral Director License with the state of Ohio
- Strong embalming skills
- Good understanding of computers and standard software including, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
- Ability to serve and maintain several families in a given time period
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented
- High level of empathy and compassion
- Ability to work weekends and evenings according to schedule
- Clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000.00 per year
