Responsibilities:
The Embalmer will be responsible for providing exceptional decedent care including but not limited to transfer, washing, embalming, dressing, casketing, and cosmetics. Valid Ohio Funeral Director and Embalmer licenses are required. Embalmer is organized, trustworthy, and customer-focused. This is a full-time, exempt position. The schedule will be first shift, varying days throughout the week, and every other weekend. This position requires one night on call every four weeks. Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field of study
- Valid Ohio Embalmer License
- Valid Ohio Funeral Director License
- Valid Driver’s License with proof of Insurability
- Ability to move and position weights up to 75 pounds
