Job Summary:
We are a well-established and locally owned funeral home in the heart of Springfield, and we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Funeral Director and Embalmer to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in providing professional and empathetic funeral services to our community. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping families during difficult times, possess excellent communication skills, possess strong character and integrity and experiences in all embalming and funeral directing practices.
Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
- Funeral Arrangements
- Embalming
- Accurate Documentation
- Coordination of Funeral Services
- Client Relations
Qualifications:
- Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the state of Ohio.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and emotional situations with empathy.
- Knowledge of funeral service laws, regulations, and best practices.
