Cole Waybright
Cole Waybright is the Vice President of Sales Optimization for Homesteaders Life Company. In this role, Waybright partners with Homesteaders’ funeral home customers and marketing organizations to implement preneed growth strategies that help them connect with more consumers.
A licensed funeral director and embalmer, Waybright is a graduate of Alderson Broaddus University and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He began his career at independent funeral homes in Ohio and West Virginia before joining Service Corporation International (SCI). Throughout his career, Cole has held a variety of leadership positions in at-need and preneed sales, as well as cemetery sales.
Waybright grew up in his family’s funeral home in West Virginia and has worked in the funeral profession for more than two decades. His experience spans a wide range of areas, including day-to-day funeral home operations, preneed sales strategy, talent development, and relationship management.
Cole is the former chair of the West Virginia Funeral Directors Association PAC and previously served on the board of the West Virginia Cemetery and Funeral Home Association.
