Ida M. Quint Tiberi, age 82, passed away Sunday August 9, 2026. Graduate of St. Joseph Academy. Former owner of The Maeder-Quint-Tiberi Funeral Home, where she worked since high school with her parents, Ethel and John F. Quint Jr. Ida was very proud of her sons, John and Joe and working alongside both of them brought her much joy. Ida had a wonderful sense of humor and even though she didn’t enjoy cooking, her words, she made a delicious Fettuccini Al Fredo, that we all looked forward to each Christmas.
She found a passion for Martial Arts and was a proud 4th degree black belt in Shorin-Ryu style Karate, she enjoyed dancing, music and going to concerts. We would occasionally hear a story about the shenanigans that she and her friend, Laura would get into when they were younger. She loved Las Vegas, especially the trips that John and Joe accompanied her on. Ida was a huge dog lover and never met a fur baby she didn’t fall in love with. Being with her grandchildren gave her so much pleasure and they in turn adored her. Ida was a caring, thoughtful and loving daughter, mom, grandma and friend who will be missed dearly. Preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and John F. Quint Jr; grandparents Ida and Joe Sciarra; fur babies Jingles, Mick, Bob, Ted, Babe and Ruby.
Survived by her sons, John (Julia) Tiberi, Joe (Jennifer) Tiberi; grandchildren, Anna (Madison) Josie, Lucas and Nicholas; her lifelong friend Laura Sirij Bova, sister-in-law Margherita Filichia and her best little fur buddy, Charlie.
Special thank-you to the caring staff at Zusman Hospice and Wesley Woods.
