Obituary for Timothy James Stevenhagen

Funeral Director at Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home

Timothy J. Stevenhagen, 72, of Manchester went home to be with his Lord, Wednesday, September 15, 2021 after a brief illness. Tim was born April 18, 1949 in Summit County, Ohio to the late William C. and Mary Lillian (Green) Stevenhagen and had been a life resident of Manchester.

He was a graduate of Manchester High School and the University of Akron. Tim was a Licensed Funeral Director and Certified Celebrant, working with the Bacher Funeral Home and since 2006, the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home.

He was currently employed by the Manchester Public School system and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Jackson Township. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Carol Ann Stevenhagen.

Tim is survived by his wife, Paula (Brandon) Stevenhagen; children, Michelle Borders, Caleb (Shelbie) Stevenhagen and Callie (Chris Kirby) Stevenhagen; grandchildren, Alexis, Austin, Trent, Aaron, Skye, Alaida, and Rylee; great grandchild, Paisley; brother, John Stevenhagen; sister, Debi (Keith) Dickson; many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life for Tim will be held WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Jackson, 8925 Strausser NW,. with Pastor Jay Baughman officiating. The family with receive friends AT THE CHURCH, Tuesday 6:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. and Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, Jackson Twp, 8925 Strausser NW, Massillon, OH  44646.
