Marilyn E. Holt (nee Gump), 84, Nov. 27, 2018, Cheviot. Beloved wife of the late Larry R. Holt, devoted mother of Peggy A. Surface (David) & Linda S. Marco (Thomas), loving grandmother of Jessica Miller (Mike), Joe Marco (Nikki), Sam Marco (Laura) & Angela Curry (Joe), gr. grandmother of Alyssa & Austin Miller, Hudson & Nash Curry & Danielle Marco & beloved daughter of the late Olga (nee Kraemer) & John Gump.
Marilyn was one of the earliest females licensed funeral directors & embalmers in Cinti. She worked with her father & her husband in the Gump-Holt Funeral Home for nearly 60 yrs. She was a graduate of UC & Cinti. Col. of Mortuary Science & had served as a councilmember for the city of Cheviot. Her memberships included Whitewater Crossing Christian Church, Cheviot Westwood Business Assn., Cheviot Westwood Kiwanis & Cheviot Westwood Lioness Club of which she was a founder, Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority, Ladies Auxiliary & Job's Daughters.
Visitation Fri., Nov. 30, 4-7 PM at the Gump-Holt Funeral Home, 3440 Glenmore, Cheviot. Funeral Sat., Dec. 1, 10 AM at Whitewater Crossing Christian Church, 5771 OH 128, Cleves, OH 45002.
