Obituary for Eleanore Lucille Ganley

Mother and Mother-in-law of Allan Ganley and OFDA Past President Tami Baird, Owners of Baird Funeral Home

Eleanore Lucille Ganley, age 82, of Parma, Ohio passed away peacefully at her residence on September 30, 2020. She was born on April 28, 1938 to the late Theodore and Pauline (Weys) Augustyn.

Eleanore is survived by her husband of over 60 years of marriage: Thomas A. Ganley; three children and their spouses: Allan and Tami Ganley, Denise and Edward Drummond and Michael Ganley; two grandchildren: Patrick and Pauline Drummond; one sister and brother-in-law: Diane and Joseph Vaschak; sisters-in-law: Josephine Ganley and Bernadette (Roger) Lentz; nieces and nephews: Jennifer (Brock Currie) Vaschak, Michael Vaschak, Rebecca (Ricki) Brideoake, Debra Cooper, Samantha (Spencer) Watts and Christopher (Lauren McVicker) Lentz; great nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

Eleanore graduated from St. Stanislaus High School, Cleveland in 1956. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Parma. Eleanore retired from Reliance Electric in 1998 after 18 years of service. She and her husband enjoyed many wonderful years in Florida in their retirement. She was an avid Brown’s fan and very proud of her Polish heritage. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mom, grandma, sister and “gator”.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, October 5, 2020 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Parma, Ohio (please meet at church). Burial will take place in All Saints Cemetery, Northfield, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00PM on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Golubski Funeral Home, 5986 Ridge Road, Parma, Ohio. Please observe all COVID-19 protocols.
