Obituary for Noah Elliot Taylor

Grandson of Darrell Waite and Great Grandson of Ralph Waite, Retired Funeral Directors at Waite Funeral Home

Noah Elliot Taylor, born in Medina, Ohio on September 16, 2016, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. He was a little boy full of energy who packed a plentiful lifetime of curious adventures into his two short years with his family on earth.

There was no question who had arrived when Noah entered a room. His vitality and curiosity drove countless quests for exploration, even when faced with the hurdles of his parents’ baby-proofing efforts, known sweetly by those who loved him as “Noah-proofing.” His inventive ways, silly gestures and sincere love made everyone around him smile constantly with joy. We will forever be grateful to have been blessed with his animated spirit.

He was particularly passionate for trains, puzzles, coloring, Spider-Man, camping and babies, especially his baby sister Cece. He enjoyed riding bikes with his dad, dance parties with his mom, vacuuming, mowing the lawn, roaring like a dinosaur, and helping his dad build and repair things with his own tools.

Noah is survived by his loving and devoted parents Dan and Catie, sister Cecilia, doting grandparents Brenda Burd, Duane Taylor, Darrell and Carolyn Waite, Raelene Jodway, great grandmother Aldine Taylor, great grandfather Ralph Waite, loving uncles and aunts David (Sarah) Taylor, Nathan (Christie) Taylor, Vincent Taylor, Andrew (Allison) Waite, Brandon (Vanessa) Waite and Travis Carpenter, many cousins, and a large community of family and friends who will miss his energy and enthusiasm for life every day.

Noah was preceded in death by his great grandmother Helen Waite, great grandparents William and Bettie Burd and great grandfather Ray Taylor.

Noah left his jubilant mark on this world and will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Family will receive friends on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Waite and Son Funeral Homes, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St., Medina, OH 44256.  A Celebration of Noah’s life will be on Tuesday, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Noah will be laid to rest privately at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina.
