Cotner Funeral Home and Crematory is currently seeking a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer to join us full-time.
Nestled in the heart of Old Reynoldsburg, Cotner Funeral Home has worked to make a difference in funeral care. Our only goal is to help a family get through one of the most difficult periods of their life. We are there for them when they truly need us, and we don’t take advantage of that relationship. That means our Funeral Directors aren’t focused on selling a product, but rather, guiding our families through their experience. We provide a complete array of diversified funeral, cremation, memorialization, and alternative funeral service options.

This position will offer a consistent schedule, with regular days/weekends off to be determined upon hire. We encourage anyone with an Ohio funeral directors/embalmers license to apply, and hope to speak with you soon.
Job Responsibilities for the Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer include, but are not limited to:
- Embalming and preparation of the deceased
- Directing funerals, memorial services, visitations, etc.
- Participating in arrangement meetings with families
- Preparing obituaries and other memorial stationary
- Completing and filing necessary paperwork in a timely manner
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Funeral Director/Embalmer License (required)
- Compassionate and professional interpersonal skills
- Ability to connect with a diverse community, and provide empathetic service to every family that walks through our doors
- Proficient in the Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, along with Adobe Acrobat
