George Edward Chapman, age 90, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away October 8, 2011. Preceded in death by wife Mary Ann, mother Laurel Miller Chapman, father Raymond Chapman and two brothers Donald and Kenneth Chapman. He leaves behind a daughter, Ann C. Davis; granddaughter, Eliese Davis; grandson, Rob Davis; and sister, Jean Fedak. He was a Navy veteran of WW II, and a member of the VFW. He was the previous owner of Cook & Son, Chapman-Dalton Funeral Home, one of Central Ohio's first trade embalmers, and a life-long member of Ohio funeral Directors Association. George was also a Shriner of the Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus. Above all, he was a wonderful father, grandfather and brother, and will be sadly missed.
