Obituary for Earl E. Anderson

Father of Eric Anderson, Inspector for the State of Ohio Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors

Earl E. Anderson, 80, of Lewisville, Ohio passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at his home.

He was born near Lewisville, Ohio on October 26, 1937 a son of the late Fred and Mildred Lafferre Anderson.

Earl was a retired employee of Consolidated Aluminum, Hannibal, Ohio; a member of the Lewisville United Methodist Church, Lewisville, Ohio; a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Ohio National Guard.

He and his wife enjoyed raising and showing American Saddlebred Horses, watching sports on television, and most especially watching his granddaughters show horses. He also enjoyed farming and helping others.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Dale E. Anderson.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy A. Tucker Anderson whom he married on April 22, 1961; one son, Eric (Darcie) Anderson of Lewisville, Ohio; four sisters, Helen (Ray) Cline of Lewisville, Ohio, Eileen (Bob) LaFollette of Lewisville, Ohio, June Johnson of Belle Valley, Ohio, Joann Robertson of Lewisville, Ohio; two granddaughters, Korah and Klara Anderson; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces, and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday June 29, 2018 where funeral and military services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 30, 2018 with Luther Merckle officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bracken Ridge Cemetery near Lewisville, Ohio.
