Obituary for Clinton Howard Garver

Husband of Barbara Lantzer Garver, Funeral Director and Owner of Lantzer Funeral Home

Clinton H. Garver, 79 of Beach City passed away, Sunday October 29, 2017 at Aultman Hospital, Canton following a brief illness. Clint was born November 6, 1937 in Justus, OH to the late Perry and Bertha McFarren Garver and had been a life resident of the area. He served his country in the Army 350th Medical Unit at Canton. Clint had been a supervisor at the former Central States Can Co. at Massillon and for the last 39 years assisted his wife Barbara A. Lantzer Garver in the operation of Lantzer Funeral Home in Beach City. He was a member of the Beach City Lions Club where he held many offices, Strasburg Masonic Lodge #604 and the Lutheran Church. In addition to his wife, Clint is survived by one daughter and son in law, Darlene (Robert) Speicher of Beach City and one son and daughter in law, Eric (Denise) Garver of Navarre, 3 granddaughters, Audrey (Ryan) Speicher of Wilmington, N. Car., Samantha Speicher of Beach City, Emma Garver of Navarre and one grandson, Trent Garver of Navarre and special one who called him Grandpa, Isabela Arth; 2 sisters and brother in law, Dora Gemma of Jackson Twp and Beverly (Thomas) Feller of Carmel Ind.

A celebration of his life will be held, November 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City.  Friends may call on Sunday November 5, 2017 after 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be made in South Lawn Cemetery, Beach City.  Memorials may be made to Beach City Lutheran Church, Po 355, United Methodist Church P.O. 366 Beach City or your favorite charity.
